Historical archive Marriages

The parish archive contains , of course, only the marriages celebrated in Mirabello. With regard to marriages celebrated elsewhere, we have sometimes  found them recorded  in the acts of baptism; they have been copied in the notes.

In the transcription we have preserved  all that the original document  contained ,including  some village names  which are now  either obsolete  ,e.g. today  Castelletto Scazzoso is Castelletto Monferrato, Lazzarone  - Villabella, Retired – Rivalba (a  hamlet of  Valmacca) , or shortened  , e.g. Borgo stands for  Borgo San Martino, Cella for Cellamonte, Monte for Monte Valenza.
